Well I promised the other day that I would post details about the next release... here are the biggest changes / fixes that everyone should expect in the next build that I will be posting in the next few days:
Well... as many of you already know... we have been away from FreeStyl for quite some time... Real life has forced this project to take a back seat to many other things but I am happy to enform everyone that we are again activly working on the project and hope to have an updated version of the launcher out this week! I know... know... promises, promises... but just remember... in the past we had promised realeses on certain days and sometimes we didn't get the release out on time... many people waited hitting refresh over and over again waiting for the update but when we missed the mark people used to get pretty upset. I have tried not to post things to the site unless I was sure that we could make the dates but that may have gotten a little be harsher feedback from the community here... well either way... I am back to posting our (new stuff coming this week) kind of posts and will try to keep everyone a little more informed as to our progress and when to expect things. The next build mostly cleans up some of the issues in the current release but it does add some new stuff... I will post some more details about the new stuff later tonight. But rest assured... I will make sure a new build of the launcher hits in the next few days!It was announced today that Flash Lite 3 will indeed be coming to Windows Mobile! This is great news as it included nearly a 30% performance increase along with better support for video, etc...
I know things have been kinda dead around here lately but we will be dropping an updated version of the launcher/locker/contacts this week... the new version really cleans up some of the nagging bugs and adds a few features (like different backgrounds on each page of your launcher) and includes a new version of the contacts app that is built right into the launcher (like the locker is). I don't know for sure which day but an update will get posted to the site this week... so keep your eyes peeled!
With the news about Flash Lite 3 coming to Windows Mobile along with the news that Silverlight for Windows Mobile is on its way this should be an exciting year for our little project!
